MIA x 2!

There's this saying that goes....3 strike and you're OUT!
Well, I believe my strikes just ran out today when my boss failed to turn up again for the third day in a row!
His excuse his time: Pengsan last night due to low blood pressure. Seeing doctor today.
I was chuckling and grinning stupidly yet again.
And not only that my super boss also might not be coming! For the first time in history (according to my co-workers here) Eddie Soo (my supervisor) took MC from work.
My luck today is so awesome so far, i might just try out for lottery!

2 Hours 1/2 min....

It is 3 pm and everyone is back from lunch including those who weren't in for the morning. That means Supervisor no. 2 aka super super boss is also back. So the office is more noisy now...
That only means that as I get more sleepy, I have to be more carefully at pretending to be busy.

Boss MIA

2 posts within the period of two working days.
Wow.
Definitely something wrong here.
I shouldn't be so free yet again.
But yet again, both my supervisors aren't here and I've already finished work assigned to me. I am that efficient.
Well, at least I won't have to keep waiting in anticipation for my direct supervisor to pop out of nowhere. I heard from Jamie (one of the staffs) that he msg her to say he wasn't coming in.
Here's the msg read aloud: Still down with stomach flu. Don't expect me to come in.
Jamie's reply: We don't expect you to.
At this point I was chuckling under my breath and when I dropped by Audrey's desk after, I was grinning stupidly by the news. My boss is MIA, having practically declared leave as he's leaving next week and doesn't give a 'flying fuck' (I quote him). And the other one is nowhere in sight yet.
Now all I have to do is occupy my self and pretend to look busy.
Hm...I think I shall take a longer lunch break.

Paid to be Bored

I know I should not be free enough to so openly start blogging. I also know there's something wrong that I have just spent the whole day at work, doing nothing but playing online sudoku, reading and surfing the net.
But then again who can blame me?
It's not my fault my supervisor and super super boss (super supervisor) are not around to tell me to do anything. So I am just sitting here...gathering dust while I type this post.
Just random thoughts floating about in my head.
I know i am not going into advertising as my career but a msn conversation with prax got me thinking of another future for me.
I can be a 'Ah Long' aka Loan Shark!
I am good with money and I know how to chase people who owe me relentlessly. Just ask Prakash and Eric.
The money I get from this part time job can be used to fun my writing! How cool is that!
At the same time, I can also be a lecturer at Taylor's with a reasonable pay, flexible working hours and minimal stress!
Woohoo! I have my career all planned out!
So what the heck am I doing in an advertising firm...?
Oh right... Grades.
Cheh. Stupid education system.

First day of Internship

With the start of my internship with Grey's Worldwide, I am thrown into a world of stress, stress and OMG, what am I doing here?
And that was only the first day.
On Day One, I learnt the basic routine in an advertising company. Since I am in the account department, I picked up on how clients and advertisers work. This means a lot of paper, here and there to that person and this person. I was given the job of researching for a microwave, fridge and nescafe dispenser. Apparently it was for Dunhill's new customer lobby or something.
Then at 3 pm, I was sent on an errand to KLCC. Alone!
All the funny thing was that I was going there to look for a shop called D'Nata for a gift wrapping trainer!
Not bad for a first day job...
So I had to take the Monorail and the LRT to get there. Damn, truth be told, it was a bit scary being alone and all.
Day 2 wasn't so bad. The interns was sent to buy donuts from Pavillion but that resulted us returning to work 5 minutes late...ONLY!
Other from that, Day 2 was more bearable than Day 1.
Hopefully Day 3 wouldn't so stressful considering 99% of the staff will be in PJ Hilton for a meeting. The remaining 1% is well...my supervisor and us interns.

Invasion of Privacy....AGAIN!

This is too much, man....
I go out for a night of fun and comedy only to come back and find my precious laptop used by my greasy old dad who has no respect whatsoever for other people's things due to the mere fact that he bought it for me.
I mean wtf!
He said, it belongs to him because he bought it for me and paid for it.
A mere technicality in ownership and investment, I say.
Well, that's beyond the point. Heck was I already annoyed with the fact he used my laptop just so he could surf the net and watch tv at the same time, I check my history and find that he has been going through my friend's blogs!
Oh, hell no! *starts cursing in various different languages*
Dude, blogs are like journals and diaries! You don't read them! They are not for the eyes of parents!!
It's bad enough that I can't bitch about him as he always throws a tantrum whenever I post a emo post regarding him (refer to past entries) Har-lo, this is my blog. My thoughts from my mind. And trust me. The posts here are a whole lot more censored than the thoughts going through my head.
This has gone too far.
Hence, to protect my privacy and those of my friends from my busybody father, DEFENSES UP!
Behind this shield of protection and password, he shall not lay eyes on my inner thoughts of world destruction and mayhem. Hehehehe!!
